Thoughts on Empathy

Vital in any relationship?

Empathy, is a word to make sure the other person is heard and you know each other’s pain.

Being a true ideal woman, yet a great wife is often a role quite misunderstood.

There have been many moments, due to the lack of right communication, as many wives struggle, to build that level of understanding. Being within the house as a working lady, she tends to absorb a bit of the negative difficulties in her own life and in the minds of her family folks. There is a lot of fear crept in and sometimes another family member’s reaction puts off the good mind-set she is in. There goes the ups and downs of being a family woman.

In the language of an effective team, it’s called sharing the load. Trusting each other and share the burden within the family, is a game of team work. But when family members find it hard to find a common path, where comes the question of sharing the burden?

Waking up in the middle of the night, doesn’t mean the wife has a problem to sort or in a bad mood. Maybe, she finds a quiet space to evolve and fulfill her heart’s wish to. She doesn’t get to see the TV channel she likes at times. She can’t travel to any place she likes; a restriction.

All the more, hearing that it’s because she is not sleeping well, waking up in the middle of night, that she has a common health issue. Rubbish to think so?

Deep inside the role of any woman who takes care of, there’s a brilliant minded lady with a good heart, wishing to be treated in a little more kind way.

She feels the need to be respected. Shower that ounce of karuna. Also, the ear to hear complains from her partner that it’s because she’s awake, that the health problem of breathing creeps in. But truly, she has no health issue, and no hard feelings, needs the right to be accepted.

She has a heart of gold and a mind to cooperate in times of difficulty.

Kindly pay due respect to every woman you know!
