Anger Managment
Last Sunday, 10Dec2023, the topic shared with children was Anger Management during Absk Class.
And, there were quite a bit of explanation given.
Activities like chanting a mantra repeatedly, walking away, breathing, focusing at a movement where some of the steps mentioned to resolve when anyone would get angry.
I recollect few instances how I had felt angry inside during various life situations. But met a Buddhist monk, who had provided a teaching on resolving the inbuilt anger as a remedy.
The monk had easily read it was either my husband or father that had caused anger to rise inside and my question to the monk, was there any teaching to transform this emotion.
I had received a reply like 'Inhale and exhale deeply' keeping in mind to inhale by breathing air into your tummy like a balloon and then relax. Each time I would feel angry, must perform this like a practice.
